Loading Events

The Association of Canadian Women Composers/Association des compositrices canadiennes, in partnership with the Canadian Music Centre presents Building Up – a virtual concert celebrating women composers supporting each other through their creative practices. The program features composers from across the country, performed by a quartet of flute, bass clarinet, piano, and percussion. This event is part of the ACWC/ACC’s 40th anniversary celebrations and is one of many virtual events taking place across the country this year.

Performed by Amanda Lowry (flutes), Naomi McCarroll-Butler (bass clarinet + alto saxophone), Yang Chen (percussion), Cecilia Lee (piano), and Stephanie Orlando (piano + electronics). Recording and video editing by Kristen Antunes and Ricci Ebron.
