An iconic figure of 20th century composition in Canada, Jacques Hétu (1938-2010) contributed beloved works to the repertoire of soloists and chamber groups. Join us for a livestreamed recital featuring some of Hétu’s earliest works written as a young man, as well as pieces completed during a period of establishment and wider influence. The music of Hétu will be realized by a talented group Toronto musicians.

This concert marks the 10th anniversary of Hétu’s death, and Dr. Robin Elliott, director of the Institute for Music in Canada, will also give a presentation illuminating the life and works of Hétu.

Audiences are encouraged to contribute through Paypal to support the participating artists.
